Literature Circles
Literature Circles have started! Students are in groups of 3 - 5 people and know how to rotate through the roles. Look for a red duo-tang coming home and their novel of choice!
Due Dates for Reading:
March 29th
April 3rd
April 5th
April 10th
April 12th
April 16th
April 19th
April 23rd These last two dates are for catch-up and finishing up the final projects!
April 26th

Evaluation:
Students will have to hand in their red duo-tangs with their roles for each set of chapters AND their final project (totaling 100 points, but can do up to 10 points more for bonus :)

Class Work
Persuasive Essay was due today, if not done, please finish and hand in on Thursday, March 8th.
Reading Response for the article "Soldiering On", need to have 10 facts and your own personal reaction to them (worksheet was provided). Also, need to have a t-chart (student made), one side labeled 'main idea's' (need 4 or 5) and the other side labeled 'supporting details' (need to have 2 or 3 for each main idea).
SS map of Ancient Greece:
label: Corinth, Megara, Athens, Spartan, Argos, Delphi, and Olympia
Using our Atlas, make a elevation key and colour for elevation (see page 149/150 in our Atlas for their key and example).
